life at the Grant's home in my formative years from 19,was an event at the weekend.On Friday nights there would be drinks,baked lamb shoulders provided by the late great Mavis Grant,music games and laughter,Mr Ronald Grant the main instigator..

I was his drinking partner & would sometimes out drink him under the table .Those were some of the happiest moments of my life,which will be treasured forever .
